And we continue to expand the contemporary line. Our shades - made from paper, linen, pure and synthetic silk, sheepskin, and mica - can cover the tiniest sconce, the grandest chandelier, and any floor or table lamp.

Clients can select from a range of shapes including rectangles, squares, ovals, octagons, drums, and A-lines. We can cover an existing shade or customize a size.

Love it, love the selection, love the staff.. ... A few months ago, ran to Just Shades one evening after work. Only to find that I had gotten there at the same time that they were closing for the evening.. but low and beee hold, the staff allowed me to come in, find the prefect shade and complete my purchase! "After receiving 4 deliveries of damaged lamp shades from one of the "big box stores", I discovered Just Shades. They had exactly what I wanted in stock and with one phone call, I had 4 new shades in about 2 days. And most importantly, they knew how to pack shades so that they arrived in perfect condition.

I spent so much time doing searches on poorly designed web sites for something that should have been easy to find. I wish I came to Just Shades first.....but at least I know where to go in the future."

This is the best resource for shades in New York City (and I have shopped around). There is a wide variety to choose from, and the sales staff are very helpful. The staff knows a "good fit" for a lamp, so be sure to involve them in the decision making. In fact, it is highly recommended that you bring in your lamp for the best direction and advice. Good lamp shades are pricey, so go in knowing that. Only thing I would suggest to them: please stock more shades; special orders take a long time to be delivered.
